Sales Account Manager (Automotive)

Position Summary:
The primary focus of this position is the development and management of a growing revenue stream of Wolfspeed products in selected Automotive accounts. This position will be also responsible for ALL kinds of Wolfspeed products (Die, Discrete, Module) from beginning, to design-in and design-win in selected Automotive accounts, no matter the business are going through distributors, Direct, or our automotive partners. Major focus on North China selected automotive accounts.
Responsibilities:
Build up the strong connection and relationship between Wolfspeed and key automotive customers
Develop account plan to penetrate Wolfspeed products in selected automotive accounts
Take lead of coordinating Wolfspeed global resources to support focus Automotive accounts
Dig out business opportunities and present Wolfspeed Value Proposition against our competitors
Work out pricing strategic, partnership, commercial programs to secure Wolfspeed long term business in focus accounts
Close work with FAE / AE / Product Line to provide the professional supporting to customers
Provide competitive market information to management to help drive the direction of product marketing and development
Understand the level of customer satisfaction with Wolfspeed technical support and drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction while meeting Wolfspeed’s business needs
Maintain business opportunity funnel in dedicated systems
Regular revenue forecast and drive the revenue to achieve the goal
Minimum Requirements:
BS Degree of Electrical Engineering
Minimum 10 years experience on semiconductor Sales, Business Development or Marketing
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to gain trust and respect from customers’ managerial and technical teams
Recognize Wolfspeed SiC is the future in EV power applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Automotive industry
Aggressive mindset with focus on finding a path to win at customers
Demonstrated ability to work with and influence decision makers within internal and external organization
Strong negotiation skills
Self-motivator with strong drive to achieve business objectives

Senior Field Application Engineer (Automotive)
(Shanghai)
Position Summary:
As Senior Field Applications Engineer, the incumbent will be responsible for pre- and post-sales technical support for Automotive Customers for Wolfspeed SiC power devices. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the selling process and experience directly supporting customers with technical product specifications, product selection, system design, reliability, quality and manufacturing process. Target customers are Vehicle OEMs, Tier ones and power module makers for the EV applications like On-Board Charger, On-Board DC/DC, Powertrain System and Power Module. This position requires interaction with customers at all levels of system design / development, components, quality engineering, procurement and general management.
Responsibilities:
Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for Wolfspeed direct sales or distributors through customer presentations and product demonstrations
Monitor & support customer design efforts; provide remote and on-site customer support
Assist customer design engineers to successfully incorporate Wolfspeed SiC power components in their products
Answer technical inquiries from customers with proper documentation and timely feedback / analysis
Support new product launches and introduction in target customers, including the training for channel partners
Design, develop, document and distribute reference and demonstration platforms for SiC Power product target applications
Develop and present materials at technical seminars, tradeshows and distributor training
Provide market feed back to the company with consolidated customer requirements to define new products and product enhancements
Provide SiC technology and product evangelism within the target customers
Local commercial activities like pricing strategy, partnership negotiation and programs to win
Minimum Requirements:
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience with power systems and devices at theoretical and practical levels
Field testing experience
Fluency in written and spoken English
Strong customer presentation skills
A passion for SiC Power Devices
Preferred Qualifications:
MS Electrical Engineering
Experience in Automotive power applications
Motor drive, OBC, server power, telecom power design experience
Aggressive mindset with focus on finding a path to win at customers
Experience working with sales to win new power designs
